Heavy DX Zephyr's.
I've been trying one out at Mt Crest and really need to throw more like you're playing catch. Putting with that large diameter is funky now. Fun to watch it float up the fairway.

That's a fun disc. At Jerry this past year they had a distance competition with Zephyrs. I got one out around 95 meters, but that was at Flagstaff elevation. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I like the Super Class idea and asked Mr. Kennedy to suggest a putter for me that is similar to my Super Puppy. Maybe this is useful to someone else and is relevant to this thread:
Chuck Kennedy has sent you a message on discgolfersR.us
The Zephyr is close to the smallest diameter allowed for Super Class. The Hero Superclass 235 made by Herodiscs USA is only a few millimeters smaller and is the smallest diameter disc allowed for Super Class. That's the disc I use for putting. It's not exactly like a Super Puppy. However, they may be making this disc with the new R-Pro plastic in April to see how that feels for Super Class. Fastbacks made by Wham-O are legal for Super Class and are very similar to the Superhero but haven't been made in heavier weights lately.
Smaller diameters are not allowed in Super Class because discs could be made that fly almost as far as current technology discs. That would defeat the whole idea of Super Class which is to have shorter throwing discs so existing courses have more true par 4s and 5s and make the challenge more like ball golf. Good luck and hope you find something that's comfortable for Super Class putting.

Busted out a Whamo 100 mold to go along with the Zephyr. Now if the wind would just die down.

Does anyone know what mold the "Heavyweight" 200 gram frisbee is? I can't figure out if it would be legal for Super Class since it is not listed.

John,
What's the course layout for this weekends Super Class? Is the club supplying discs for sale or bring your own super class discs?
Thx

Rob,
I'm not sure what the layout will be as Cary is running the event on Sunday (11/8), Might want to contact him. The Club does not have any and I think Cary said he would be getting some. See ya at Mountain Crest on Saturday for the Bag Tag Event, might be able to see some then.

I see Cary had to postpone this event to next year.
Here's video of some of some old school players. Cool seeing Zimmerman, Snapper and Randy. Probably throwing 40 or 50 molds.
