What is so special about special blend plastic? I recently recieved a special blend wraith and i dont know much about it?

It was an early blend of star plastic. There are Rocs (2005 and 2006 USDGC), Orcs (2006 Tula fundraisers), Wraiths, and Roadrunners. Probably some others out there as well.

yeah the best one is the wraith that has ken climo's picture on it and is autographed and says 11x world champ and o wait 2 months later he won his 12th, thats my favorite special blend disc.

There were Teebirds as well. I like mine a bunch. The 1st run sf Star Teebirds that were marked S-TB instead of *TB were very SB like.

Oh, there's also a very few number of SB Teebirds that have the old 11x KC stamp on them.

Chase at IronLionDG used to have one in his online store, but I don't see it anymore.

Of course, there was an early 'special blend' plastic on discs stamped as SE or Special Edition. The Teebirds and Leopards were/are great discs that break in well for turnover shots.
