The 2009 Augusta Classic will be held this year on September 19th and 20th in beautiful Augusta, GA. This PDGA A-tier event consistently draws a full field every year and this one will most likely do the same. After some thought the courses that will be played will be Lake Olmstead and Riverview Park in a 4 round format, on the best two courses in Augusta proper.
We will hopefully be taking a full field of 90 players for this event, i know this may not be popular with some people around here but that's the way it is and we will make it work!
Registration closes on Friday September 18th, there will be no day of registration and no exceptions! I will not be "holding" spots for anyone, if i have your money in hand you are in the tournament, again no exceptions.
On Friday Sept. 18th we will be doing best shot doubles at Lake Olmstead Park at 3:00pm and checkin/last minute registration from 3pm to 6pm. Also there is a big music and arts festival in Augusta that weekend, The Avett Brothers play on Friday at 7pm.
