My wife is one of many who are running this year's Day Camp for the Girl Scouts of the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities. They usually run many outdoor activities and this year my wife would like to include disc golf as one of them.
I am already taking care of the putters they will be using (and hopefully keeping if we get enough) as well as I will be bringing both of my Mach Light portable baskets.
What we need, or at least prefer, is a female golfer who would be willing to volunteer her time (Thursday, July 22nd) to teach the girls on how to throw and enjoy the sport. As a teacher I am capable of leading this activity (approximately 200 girls, most likely not at the same time) but it is always preferred that females lead activities, showing what girls are capable of and can be proud of.
If you can or know someone who can help, please contact or private message me.
