Hello. I'm a 3rd year graduate student in the department of landscape architecture and regional planning at UMass Amherst and am proposing a disc golf course here on campus. I've created a Facebook page to create support which I will use in my presentation to the campus planning board at the beginning of May. The group has some maps of where the course will be installed (and once the document is done) will have final renderings, detailed maps, etc.

If you'd take the time to go over to the page and join (and invite other friends), I'd be greatly appreciated. Also, any input on other marketing schemes or steps I should take in the process would be much appreciated as well. Thanks!

If you haven't already, you should speak with Phil Kennedy. There was a course on campus in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

I don't do Facebook, but I'd be glad to offer whatever assistance I can. I built the course at Holyoke Community College.

There may have been a "permanent" course, but it was probably an object course. The course I played in the 1979 NAS event there were temp baskets.
