Ahh man...only 2 rounds??

Lol! Yeah, but there are 5 other games to participate in, too! Also, the entry fees will be priced like there's only two rounds, so it should be fine all around!

Update: There will be 3 rounds of disc golf. Online registrations will soon be available through Dynamic Discs!

is this all at griffin or a mix? so what courses are being used...

The second round of disc golf on Saturday will be at Lions. Other than that, all other rounds and field events will be held at Griffin.

UPDATE: There will be 3 rounds of disc golf, and for those concerned with the heat (like myself) we will be providing water jugs and, if possible, a misting area to keep cool in!

I know this might be something you guys aren't used to from a Sooner Disc Golf event, but we have measured out a schedule of events that we will be sticking to for the duration of the tournament. You will get a copy of this schedule in your player's pack!

Schedule of events:

Friday 8/6: @Griffin: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Event pre-registration
Doubles: @ Lions: Bring your own partner! $20 per team! Flex-start from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Saturday 8/7: @Griffin: Registration: 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.; Rules: 9:00 a.m.; 9:30 Tee-off; Lunch and Field Events: 12:00 - 4:00, MTA, Putting and Distance will be the events held on Saturday.
@Lions: 2nd Round of Disc Golf: 4:15 announcements, 4:30 Tee-off.
@Jake's: Afterparty: 8:00 p.m. - midnight

Sunday 8/8: @Griffin: DDC Clinic, Rules, and Practice: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. 1st round DDC: 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.; 3rd Round of Disc Golf: 10:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.; Lunch: 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.; DDC Final Rounds: 2:30 - 5:00 p.m.; Freestyle and DDC Overflow: 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.; Award Ceremony: 6:00 p.m.

To everyone who received a "schedule" of events from Steve King related to the State Championships, please ignore it. It says that we will be playing Lions first, Griffin second on Saturday. This is incorrect. The schedule of events that I have posted on here is the correct one and it is the one we will be going by, since I am the TD on this. I apologize for the confusion, but there are a lot of changes going on in Sooner Disc Golf and misunderstandings can happen during these times. Thanks for understanding!

Are the field events and overall state championships broken into each individual division or is it just a pro and a am? i.e. a Rec champion, Int, Adv, Adv Mast, Adv Grand...for each event or is it just Golf.

I guess its just one overall champion?? if did i read the earlier post right?

For the 5 field events, there will be a general Pro division and a general Am division, with one state champion in each division and one overall state champion for all events. However, in the disc golf event, there will be Pro, Advanced, Am, Nov, and Juniors (with all applicable women's, masters, grandmasters, and sr. grandmasters fields as well). There will be a State Champion for each of these divisions for disc golf.
