Several guys from Tulsa made the trek north for two DD B tiers.
Saturday was the Revenge of the Monkey, played at Peter Pan Park.
Dorries played well and tied for 3rd. George Smith snuck back in and won Open.
Devan, Crowl and Hunt were further down the list but played well anyway.
I managed to come back from 5 down to win Pro Grand Masters. Matt Treat played intermediate and was two out of cash.
Great day, the course looked very nice.
Day two was the 5th Dynamic Disc Open. We moved to Jones East/West.
There were no other pro grands so I played advanced masters. It all came down to the last two holes, I made par on 17 and 18 on the west course, my closest opponent went 4 and 5 on the last two holes so I won 2nd by 1 stroke, several out of 1st.
Devan played really well and lost to Ron Convers by 1 stroke to take second. Dorries, Hunt and Crowl all cashed!!!
Matt missed cashing but played really well in the afternoon.
It was a fun weekend. Jeremy did a good job and everything flowed nicely..
Emporia has GREAT courses. Everyone should try to play these the first time you get a chance..
