Several guys from Tulsa made the trek north for two DD B tiers.

Saturday was the Revenge of the Monkey, played at Peter Pan Park.

Dorries played well and tied for 3rd. George Smith snuck back in and won Open.

Devan, Crowl and Hunt were further down the list but played well anyway.

I managed to come back from 5 down to win Pro Grand Masters. Matt Treat played intermediate and was two out of cash.

Great day, the course looked very nice.

Day two was the 5th Dynamic Disc Open. We moved to Jones East/West.

There were no other pro grands so I played advanced masters. It all came down to the last two holes, I made par on 17 and 18 on the west course, my closest opponent went 4 and 5 on the last two holes so I won 2nd by 1 stroke, several out of 1st.

Devan played really well and lost to Ron Convers by 1 stroke to take second. Dorries, Hunt and Crowl all cashed!!!

Matt missed cashing but played really well in the afternoon.

It was a fun weekend. Jeremy did a good job and everything flowed nicely..

Emporia has GREAT courses. Everyone should try to play these the first time you get a chance..

I'd have to say that despite ups and downs, the weekend was a BLAST. I always have so much fun travelling north to Kansas for tournaments. All of the players are friendly and I seem to always have a good time when I go there.

Peter pan park is really fun, and can either be super rewarding if you play well, or it can really beat you down with OB strokes if you don't watch out.

I hit an ace saturday morning, it was a KC pro roc, semi beat in, I threw it with some hyzer straight at the basket and it flipped up to riding on a DEAD STRAIGHT line right at the basket, and it just dropped right on line with the center of the bucket and stuck right in the heart. It was about a 300 foot hole, dead straight with trees left and right, leaving only a shot up the middle. No other aces were hit, so I took home $355 dollars! Not bad when you take more money than the guy who got 1st at the tournament, hah.

Sunday I got to play my first round with the world champ! He lit it up! Second round got to play with Babbit for the first time and george smith again (2nd time). Awesome golfers!!!!

If you don't make it up to emporia to play a tournament, make sure you at least play the courses when passing through. They are challenging, rewarding, and fair.

After two weekends in a row of Dynamic Disc events, I feel spoiled. Total first class events, always.

Okie dubs! ....Dorries/Triska.... lookout!
