Kyle, Jeremy and I started running minis at dolese years 5-6 years ago. We had our first tournament from those funds raised from the first season. It was the Players Cup. The next year, Kyle and I turned it into the Jeremy Martin Memorial, after J's passing. Kyle and I continued to run Wensday night minis at Dolese to help fund the tournament, and here we are now. Kyle moved to Tulsa, and I continued to run the Wensday night mini at dolese. This year I stepped aside, and Tim Parker took over, and he has ran all of the Wensday night minis this year. Without him, we would not be where we are today.
In the years past we had given money to the family, and mostly donated the rest back to the players. We have always strived to meet B Teir status, and made that our goal. We have been succesfull in the past meeting our goals, and we hope to continue that, and keep making it bigger and better!
This year, The Oklahoma Disc Golf Association is here, and a reality! It is a new club that has been in the works for years, and now OKC has made it happen. We are hoping to raise some funds this year to get OKC disc golf off the gound, and running.
This is a tournament that is deep to Kyle and My heart, as well as many others. We have the same volenteers that we have had for years. The same sponsors, that MAKE this tournament happen.
We have grow beyond our expectations year after year, and we hope too continue that!

Thank you Kyle, Jason and all of the volunteers. Great event, great food and as always great friends all over the course. Listening to the bag pipes through out the course was quite humbling.
Again, as always Darrell handed me another butt whipping. Got a lot closer than the score will show but he is DJ and lived up to the legend.
I probably owe Ruby another $5 also.
Thanks for the two course layout that provided all of us to be home at an early hour.
Another JMM in the books and it just gets better every year.

What a great day! I wish I felt better! That was the players meeting I have always wanted to have since I started hosting events. Big Nic on the anthem...Doves being relesed during the anthem and a traditional bagpipe player filling the course with the awesome sounds as we all traversed the course.
I am SUPER proud of my homie Jason Schwake and the way he handled stuff this weekend. Between the nap in the back of my truck and my heading out for a bit he had to work extra hard to keep it rolling. I have not felt that sick running an event EVER.
MEG Twisted thanks to the VOLUNTEERS behind the table and on the course!
Joe ED THAT FOOD WAS AWESOME!!!
Seeing the one dove hover around and then fly by the bagpipe player as he went down the fairway is a picture I will not soon forget!

You been practicing Wayne?? Nice win buddy...
Any time I get to see Mr. Forest at one of my events and give him his winning, its special to me and an honor.
I can remember some of my first tournament ever Wayne was the TD.
I know Kyle Jeremy and I came down to several Ice Bowls at riverside, that Wayne ran, of course.
Theres a photo floating around there somewhere of him and I. I cant wait to see it.
It was one of the many highlights of my day!

What a great day it was on Sunday! The star spangled banner played by Big Nic, the doves, the bag pipes (being played down the fairway right behind me), and to see all the good will in remembering Jeremy by his friends in OKC was a good place to be. I didn't know him personally but I do know he obviously had a lot of good friends.
To finish the day off for me I threw in an ace for my last shot - that kind of sums up the whole feel of the tourney for me. Glad I could be a part of this one.
