Just wondering if anyone has ever developed a database program to keep track of all the things related to running a club, such as:

Member Information and renewals
Mini and league results and standings
Amateur points (used for merchandise)
Merchandise Inventory

We track all this in excel, but it is time intensive and difficult. There has to be a better way!! I think everyone who runs a club has gone through these same types of issues. Maybe the PDGA could help here. Sure would be a big time saver for those of us that have to track such things! And really, I'd rather be out playing than doing this!!

I started putting together an Access database and got as far as designing the tables that hold everything, but I have no idea how to take it from that point and build an application on top of it.

If you are running a club, and have a good handle on this, please share your methods here. And it would be great if the PDGA could aim its vast resources at solving this problem for its affiliated clubs. :D
