… the Treasure Chest soon to be revealed will include more CE (go figure) … one point of detail is that ‘my name’ remains on the Poker Chips as well … by way of “TD discretion” (as I announced at the Double-O) , that possibility will be dealt as follows :
… first “Forest” chip drawn : will go to the most-numerous in ALL “Flights” drawings …
... second “Forest” chip : will go to the most-numerous in this ‘series’ (Nov.5 thru Jan.16) …
… third “Forest” chip : will go to second-most-numerous in ALL “Flights” drawings …
.
.
… I will give you some definitive numbers on those individuals shortly …
.
.
... I will be calling-upon the talents of our "Camera Guy" Gary Nail with some gleaming photos soon ...

... funny that was brought-up again ... because here's a little drift I was composing to post-up for Public Record :
"
"
 I think that Charity Challenge-Matches are an excellent idea ! so-much-so , that I am willing to risk my-own-self (and other friends) in the process my buddy FurDog is a great Ambassador for the Sport ; Tournament-Director ; Organizer ; Course-Pro ; Cheerleader ; Administrator ; Grand-Wizard-Poobah ; Master-Of-Ceremonies ; and All-Around-Fun-Fellow
.
I explain all this (and how much we all dig him) in order to preface the following :
.
.
in the interest of Charity : I . CHALLENGE . THE . FURDOG (cuz hes just fun to be around) to a specific-partners-doubles-match
FurDog (832) -and- Sarah Slane (832)
- - - - vs - - - - -
Forest (829) -and- Martin Norris (811)
by ratings , this looks perfect plus we all like each other think of those smiles
$10 per Player ; with all forty-bucks to go to The Ice Bowl for The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma
18-Holes of struggle here or there Moose or Bear (or anywhere else)
Winning Team wins : that warm-fuzzy-feeling of good-deeds-done , Disc-Golf-Karma , and bragging-rights over the other Team
Losing-Team wins : same-things (except no bragging-rights)
Best-Time for All ? : probably a Sunday could be this (14th) at Haikey ; theres a 2:00pm Mini following could be next (21st) at Hunter at 11:00am ; theres a 1:30pm Mini following could be Sunday December 5 which is open
.
.
.
previous attempts at this grouping have been conveniently ignored or maybe theyre too a-skeered to respond

just some refresh info for Poker-Chips those Events on the TDSA Schedule which are Flights Doubles (run by yours truly) are always a Fundraiser Fun Round always Draw-Doubles ; always cheap entry ; always offering optional mulligans examples are Tuesday Nite Flights ; Friday Nite Flights ; High Noon Flights ; etc. for every participant who enters to play , they earn their name on a Poker-Chip number these Chips are drawn randomly for those assorted Prizes that I show in advance as a Players number is drawn , he/she instantly wins that Disc more good news later

Well, it started out bad for me as Wise had a great drive on hole 3 and I early tree'd for a 4. Down 1 after 1. Didn't get nervous, put the petal to the metal and par'd the next two holes while Wise fived'em. I made EVERY put inside of 30 and only had 21 putts total. Wise was all over the branches and complained of footing issues but after hole 6 (started on 3) it was never really in doubt. He did bang of the basket for a great skip shot on 6, so he finished a $ingle up. Had alot of fun. Money will be going to the food bank which was ultimately why we played.
Series is now even 1-1-1 with Wise up a dollar. Finished 5big to 10big @ Blackhawk.
Playing time was 1 hour ten minutes.
Hopefully that will stop his streak of money wins, who knows.

these Charity-Challenge-Matches turn out to be nice fundraisers for TULSA ICE BOWL with that in mind : the following will be in place whenever a Challenge-Match is set-up and played ; and ICE BOWL donations are accrued ; the combatants involved will earn a Poker-Chip we all know what those Chips will be used for theyll be drawn during that ICE BOWL Saturday for plastic treasures
.
recently , a Charity-Challenge-Match transpired between superman-Hinds and bulldog-Wise I believe Hinds prevailed and their Match resulted in $50 donated into The Tulsa Ice Bowl ( THAT amount will be used by our Food Bank to create 350 MEALS throughout our area ! )
.
so , I enact this additional Poker-Chip deal with the following stipulations
.
 Challenge-Match can be between two-playing-singles -or- four-playing-doubles
Challenge-Match must be pre-hyped or announced publicly beforehand some spectators or onlookers may want to watch
 Challenge-Match must be at-least 18-holes of Disc-Golf
the format for play is optional : stroke-play , match-play , skins , best-shot , alternate-shot these details are completely up to the challenging-and-accepting Players involved they must also decide between themselves any issues of Play : Course ; O.B.s ; Mullies ; etc. before the first-throw
these Matches must be done before Monday , Jan. 17
Net-Results for the Charity must be cash and must be certain minimum-levels
a SINGLES-CHALLENGE-MATCH must net at least $50. (25 per player)
a DOUBLES-CHALLENGE-MATCH must net at least $80. (20 per player)
.
 other factors are always at work with Challenge-Matches bragging-rights , side-bets , grudges , some-people-wearing-dresses , some-people-having-to-caddy , pride , Fun , etc.
.
this is not to askew the Integrity of the Poker-Chip they have always been EARNED Flights-Players (in some less-than-perfect-conditions of Weather) have stepped forward to enter-and-compete in Flights Doubles Events (for a $3 to $5 entry) and they usually get the Mulligans , which drives-up Charitable Dollars those are still in place with participants earning Poker-Chips I just felt that the much-larger-donations of these Challenge-Matches should net their combatants a Poker-Chip as well

One poker chip is all I need and I've already got one in there.
WE ARE ALL WINNERS IN THE ORIGINAL RACE TO THE EGG OR ELSE NONE OF US WOULD BE HERE!!!
That's right, only one gets in and that is all that is required.
I'm beginning to think DG is a cult and you and Treat are the leaders preaching the book of PDGA and leading the masses into service of the Plastic God.:)
The "Roc", Bowling Ball, Trash Can Lid" challenge has been made and should I fall on the battle field I will expect a tax deduction, not a poker chip.:p
Bowling is something some of us DG'ers used to do at Connors Baskets & Bowling tournaments. Now because of the Wii, most everybody bowls at home now.
I know you won't accept this challenge unless you have an edge so I've got 50 cents that says you're out in the alley somewhere looking for a good "roller" trash can lid right now!!!:D

Ok, to keep from having to procure those things I propose the following and equally challenging event so we dont have to haul the bowling ball and trash lid around.
The Roc, Mini, Crochet showdown.
We both have a mini and a Roc and Marie and I already have a crochet set.
We tee off using crochet mallets, then we alternate every other shot mini, mallet, mini, ect. Until we get within 30 feet then we putt with the Roc.
A hit on the opponents crochet ball will enable the hitter with one free shot to either knock his own ball further down the fairway or send his opponents ball in any direction just like in crochet.
Miss the putt and you have to putt with the mini before you can use the Roc again.
If the mini stays in the basket then no stoke taken.
Audible man-made farts on the tee pad earns an automatic stroke deduction.
One mallet length displacement from an unplayable lie is allowed.
We will need an inpartial referee to settle any disputes.
I believe there are six crochet mallets and balls so if there any other challengers that want in there are four more spots available.
Whom amoungst you out there is worthy of withdrawing the sword from the stone and be King of Furdog's mountain???

I don't know. Needs to be a Saturday or Sunday with good weather.
Did you get us a couple of lids and cart for the bowling balls???
Who's the ref?
No offense Wayne but you never bring vodka, beer, or anything so this sounds kind of boring if there is not some other challenge going on to laugh
at.
This thing needs some promotion with mulitple fights on the event card.
Is there nobody else out there who knows how to improvise, adapt to the environment, Darwin, crap happens, I Ching, or roll with it???
Treat?
Duff?
Mitchell?
Opie?
On top of that I currently kind of depressed because the DGA guys can't seem to finalize this tee sign deal. Yesterday it was California time so today I guess they are living on Hawai time??? Remind me never to invest in any of their public stock.:(

Sneaky Wayne is trying to move in on my mountain because the park guys have told me about Wayne sightings for the last week. That's right. Medival games, Sunset Concerts, Xmas display assembly, Grand Openings, Karen Keith photo ops,...that's how we roll at Chandler.:p
And BTW, considering that the TDSA didn't sponsor those lights or that sign I'm going to cut off the "T" and change it to "FDSA"...."Furdog's Drunk Sports Association" and start a new sub club with free membership to all the famous drunks who have passed out at Chandlerstock over the years.:)
If I lose $50 then that saves me $50 of the $100 I normally donate at the Ice Bowl. I've been feeding your DG guys living in vans down by the river all year with whatever roadkill I find or run over so don't tell me I'm not doing my part.
I give them squirrel, skunk, possum, and other assorted wild and domesticated animals.
You just take their money.

Well my croquet idea was better and if you had obeyed like I told you too you wouldn’t have had to go foraging for bowling balls. I have a bowling ball already but I’m not going to drag it out there and run it through the dirt.
The croquet idea would have allowed us the opportunity to smoke the lids, carry less, and send each other to the dark side with one whack of the mallet.
This challenge is not like the TDSA schedule where once its out there it can't be changed.

Your insistence on not wanting to go with my revised plan is why you are the “gopher” in this deal.:p
I am the Alpha, you are the Beta. I come up with the ideas, you do the gathering.

Welcome and thank you for your support of The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Huge Thanks as well to Scott Schumacher (Furdog), Marie Greninger, and Tulsa County Parks for loaning us the Course. Also, Big Thanks go to Steve and Kathy Ward for our website maintenance.
This event at Chandler Park is geared for you to enjoy disc golf while enhancing our reputation in the community. Your participation to compete in two-rounds will support this very active charity and their superior distribution of food and nutrition to the hungry.
Both of the 18-hole courses at Chandler are “short and sweet”,
thereby needing less time to play.
There is not a “long lunch break” in the schedule.
The only O.B. anywhere on these courses is over the fence into the ballfields.
There is NO two-meter rule. There are NO mando-throws.
Players will accomplish their 36-holes by their choice of two options:
Optional back-to-back rounds of 18
-or-
With a "break" between rounds of 18
The order in which you play the two courses is also ‘somewhat’ optional,
pending your Group decision -or- the TD. As long as you play all 18-holes on both courses.
Remember: turn in everything including the baggie after completion of 36 holes.
Each player will be issued their own two-round scorecard, enabling playing-groups
to be formed quickly by the TD -or- by the Players themselves.
“Group Size”: Most practical size would be 4 or 5 Players.
We’ll try to have no more than 6 per Hole assignment. The minimum size for a Tee would be 3 players. Also, the possibility is okay that a smaller-or-faster Group may ask the Group ahead to allow them to "play through".
Good manners go far.
2011
ONE TD-requested “MANDO” :
No matter where you are in the Park at 12:00 NOON, We need a ‘pause’ for our (hopefully) largest group-photo possible. This includes YOU, your caddy, your family, your dog, your mother-in-law, etc. If you’re playing some holes at 11:50am, PLEASE find a stopping place, walk back toward the shelter, gather up with the crowd and SMILE BIG for the camera! Then your Group can return to your position on the Course and resume your Round. My personal thanks to all of you for this ‘pause’.
C-T-P for "Original 18" ( Bear’s Lair ) Course is Hole #13.
Measure tape is there and we need one overall winner for the day.
C-T-P for "New 18" ( Moose Run ) Course is Hole #18.
Measure tape is there and we need one overall winner for the day.
. . . expect some possible "extra" C-T-P throws and prizes during the day . . .
Awards and Payout would start as-soon-as-possible after the last
scorecards are turned in to the TD. So PLEASE do not delay turning
them in. Also, if you choose to leave before Awards, please give the
TD your phone number or contact info in case you win anything.
The Ace Pot must be hit or there will be an extra "throw-off" afterwards.
“Choice – Mulligans” are coupons good for one (1) extra throw anywhere
on a hole: tee-shot, approach, or putt. This extra throw will enable the
player to choose between their two shots for which one to play. If used,
the mulligan coupon must be reported to the scorekeeper in your group
after each hole …
Limit for use: one (1) mulligan-coupon per hole.
Side-notes on Mulligans: You do not have to throw both shots back-to-back unless you want to. You must announce to your group before you re-throw.
A Mulligan shot is valid everywhere: Aces, CTPs, Birdies, Side-Bets.
We will be earth-friendly and litter-free on Mulligans in 2011. Rather than carry paper mulligan-coupons, the scorecard will be marked before the round by your TD for your mulligan count. As so many players buy the maximum amount of mulligans (in support of a good charity), I will mark that scorecard as “MAX” before your round and Players in your group will know that you have one (1) extra throw per hole. If a lower number than “MAX” is written on the card, Mulligan-use must be recorded on the Scorecard in an appropriate manner.
And, as always seems to be the case, generous additional donations help "pile up" the
totals of Cash. As in previous years, any individual who brings a $100 cash sponsor
to the Food Bank totals, will receive their "max-mulligan-deal" ($15 value) for free.
SMILE! . . . Because no matter what the weather conditions,
and with your participation, we’re literally feeding thousands!

ADDITIONAL FOOD DONATIONS WELCOME
PROCEEDS GO TO THE COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA

TO ALL PLAYERS: "SHOW YOUR HEART. . .
PITCH IN AND DO YOUR PART"

okee-doak , Fellow-Of-Fur wanting to be all fair-n-square with this here Challenge , heres the best rules-for-us-to-follow :
first-to-throw on Hole #1 Tee : we should coin-flip afterwards , it should alternate who shoots first from the Tee there could be a big advantage watching the other-guys ball roll
if bowling-ball kisses metal-pole of basket = Ace
if trash-can-lid kisses any-part of metal (basket, pole, top) = Birdie
if bowling-ball breaks , largest-piece-remaining is your spot weve got back-ups
if trash-can-lid breaks or damages , we live with it
normal disc-golf rules apply with the Innova Roc (must be in basket" , etc.)
normal O.B.s and all other normal Moose Run rules apply

And don't tell me it's not because we didn't play a full 18 holes because history shows a legal precedence of someone not finishing all 18 holes but getting a chip anyway.

I don't know. You would have to be willing to put some of your ultimately 12-13 chips on the line like Duff is doing.
There's a lot more work involved chunking bowling bowls and rolling lids vs showing up for a standard Flights event. Not to mention having to deal with an Avalanche crunching you lid as well.
IMO your last victory deserves and asterik next to it in the history books because of that.

Dude!!!:(
They are the challengers which means WE (you and I) are the main attraction which means they are trying to ride the coatails of our super stardom.
You need to learn not to give in so easily so we can control the event rules and negotiations.
When it was Duff vs Furdog there were big stakes on the line of of your poker chips vs control of CS2011.
I dont see Wayne putting in any big high stakes like some of his 10 chips on the line for this deal and because your mouth suffers from "Pre-mature Agree-a-fi-cation, you just blew our chances for extra perks and demands like, no green M&Ms in the dressing room, they supply the vodka and the caddie, ect.
Did you ever hear the saying, Never tell anyone outside the family what your thinking. ????
Are you forgetting that you are a member of the "Knights of the Moose Table"????
