Ok guys and girls. It is time to get your 4 player teams together for the Chandler United Way tournament this Saturday, November 6th. As always this tournament benefits the United Way and has always been hard fought and fun at the same time.

Second Place = LONGDISCSTYLE
Matt Razmus, Zach Lund, Sarah Slane, Kyle Razmus : 60

First Place Champion Team = 3 'BEES' and a 'C'
Dan Bougher, Michael Barr, John Belty, and the "Forest-impersonator" Cris Hicks : 59

$1,062 was raised for the United Way�

Throughout the history of this, the champs of this tournament has always been �3 �BEES� and a Tree� though their win last year as �3 �Bees� and a �C�� really deserves to have an asterisk next to it considering that �The Tree� pulled a last minute �Hicks� out of the woods.:cool:

It doesn�t matter though because this year one team will step up and knock them off this year.

Your team will play one round on Bear�s Lair. Hit -19 and your team is almost guaranteed 1st place. All -18�s will go to a playoff but this year the playoff will be decided on team score to expedite final results so we don�t keep our park hosts out there all day.

Free lunch is included.

I personally will be helping Pat with this tournament so there will be no �Team Furdog� this year. Considering the lack of game I have I�m just been bad luck for those guys anyway.

What that means is that I will probably be drumming in your face so bring some earplugs.:)

Look for some casino holes as well.

Also, as an incentive to keep team �3 �Bees� and a Tree� (or whatever they are going to call themselves this year) from the 1st place platform, I will reimburse the $32 entry of any OTHER team that can knock them off and grab the 1st place prize. And if they decide to split up I will not cover entry if one of these guys, Dan Bougher, Michael Barr, John Belty, and the "Forest-impersonator" Cris Hicks is on your team.:p:D

If you don�t have a team right now then come out anyway because we have always had people forming a team on the spot.

We also might get some type of 5$ flip dubs going on at Moose afterwards as well so come on out and enjoy the day.:)

I was actually replying to Furdogs original post, but you two can fight it out for the title of Godfather of disc golf (in the Tulsa area).

Well I don't know. Last years playoff lasted forever. I say finish the morning deal and for those that are interested, stick around and play 4 man or 3 man safari involving both Bear & Moose.

We could line some holes with Hoola-hoops and let teams deduct stokes for everyone they hit.

... This year's gig is sounding BETTER all the time ! ...

... AND ... on this Friday : "Friday Nite Flights" (at Chandler) will sell all the mullies we can to give Pat Ward and County-Parks a head-start the next morning ... (Poker Chips do earn for the Ice-Bowl-Treasure-Chest) ...
