My name is Chris Sprague #16425, I've been playing disc golf professionally for 10 years out of Des Moines, Iowa and have always been active in the local disc golf community. In 2007 my tour landed me in Rock Island, Illinois via Eugene, Oregon and since I've been blessed with the privilege of designing and building the Camden Two course at Camden Park in Milan, Illinois.

Camden Park was a disc golf course designed in 2001 by the local QC club, including members Jay and Des Reading. The course has 4 practice baskets, and boasts a variety of professional and recreational quality golf holes. Camden Two was meant to be the World Class version of the fun and challenging original course. The new course was to reside on 40 acres of heavily wooded and steep terrain. It has two creeks that join together creating an elevated peninsula, with deep ravines that form natural bunkers. The land was heavily overgrown and essentially untouched for the last 50 years, and it showed. We fought our way through heavy briar, thorn thickets, and quicksand filled creeks to bring this course to life.

Please take a moment to enjoy some of the pictures and browse through our work log, hopefully you'll find inspiration in our efforts as well as our set-backs. My hope is that through this blog we'll receive valuable comments from other experienced course builders and especially feedback from players that have visited our park.

Thanks for sharing your energy with us!
