I am very disappointed that the ratings were missed on the first attempt of 2012. It appears there is an illness and as bad as I feel for the one that is sick, the PDGA needs to be there to serve its members. I would think a plan B would be something to consider moving forward to avoid this happening. I am an executive director of a membership based organization and if I were to provide a time line on an update, event, or program and not meet or be early on that deadline it would not be acceptable. As a 10+ year supporter of the PDGA I am sad to have lost confidence in some of the leadership. I hope this isnt a sign of what's to come in 2012.

I understand your disappointment. But perhaps you might be willing to spot the PDGA few days considering it's the first time in maybe 6-7 years they missed the official posting date. Ratings have been posted one day early maybe 30 times over those years you've been a member.

Good point, the standard was high. Oppurtunty for improvement is not a bad thing.

Just my selfish self-interested opinion, but at this point you might want to wait until after Bowling Green rather than having players being required to change divisions three days before tee off. There are about 14 players within 5 points of having to move up a division.

This rating update, whether posted later this week or next week, should not impact the division a player is allowed to compete in as long as they have pre-registered before the update (and TD agrees) per Comp rule 2.2(2) since the event is less than two weeks away.

My guess is that they won't be posted until next week cause it's easier that way. I'm reserving the little bit I of faith I have left to see if it's this week though. We will see

Replying to Chuck, true, but the TD has posted that he doesn't agree.

So get well soon, ratings committee, but don't be in a rush to take on too much volunteer or independent contractor PDGA stuff. :D

Some new ratings are now posted but widespread storms in the Augusta area have interrupted the upload which can take a few hours. Hopefully, the remainder will get online within the next few hours.

The four unofficial 1100+ rounds from the Memorial held up as official ratings with Schusterick squeaking by with an official 1100 in R4.
