High Desert Distance Challenge 2016
A 3 day World Flying Disc Federation approved distance event
Date: March 26-28 2016
Location: Roach Dry Lake Bed, Primm, Nevada
Roach Dry Lake Bed is in the high desert of Primm, Nevada on the border of California and Nevada, 44 miles from Las Vegas. Elevation: 2618 feet.
The elevation and weather combine to make this one of the premier sites in the world for flying disc distance throwing. Seven WFDF distance World Records, including the current open World Record have been set at this site. WFDF World Records This means you have an excellent chance (actually up to 45 excellent chances) of throwing your longest throw ever – maybe even a World Record!
This area is also home to Primm Valley Resorts and Casinos with casinos, entertainment and theme park with attractions such as the Desperado – one of the top 10 roller coasters in North America
Rules:
Event will be held according to WFDF Rulebook Article VI Rule 603.02 distance and other applicable WFDF rules
Entry fee: $100 which will be used toward expenses and spotters
Field Limited to 15 throwers
