2024 Selinske U.S. Masters — Final Recap

A week of intense battles came down to the wire all over the Cary, North Carolina to wrap up the 2024 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Disc Golf Championships on Sunday.

Playoffs, Championship Sunday surges and clutch performances highlighted the PDGA Masters Major.

Here's a quick look at the action:

  • Scott Conway came up with clutch shots on 17 and 18 to complete the wire-to-wire win for his first PDGA Major. The North Carolina native finished with a one-stroke win over his fellow statesman, Michael Johansen.
  • Sarah Hokom also picked up her first PDGA Masters Major and fourth overall Major title in even more dramatic fashion on the fourth playoff hole against Jennifer Allen, who erased a three-stroke deficit in regulation to force the playoff.
  • JohnE McCray defended his U.S. title with a playoff win over Barry Schultz. McCray birdied seven-straight holes en route to a 10-under round to erase Schultz' three-stroke lead entering Sunday.
  • Blaine Faulkner closed out clean to reclaim the lead in MP55 for the final time with a one-stroke win over Hank Kirwan.
  • FP60 was set up for a dramatic finish entering the day with the top three separated by just two strokes. Kathy Hardyman took down the title in a playoff against Laurie Cloyes-Chupa.
  • Randy Beers saved his best for last with a dominant round on Sunday that ended with a nine-stroke win in MP70.
  • Bradley Bushman kept a title in the Raleigh area with a one-stroke win in MA40. Bushman trailed by two strokes entering the round.
  • George Bodiroga kept his cool and took down a one-stroke win in MA65 after the round began with a one-stroke deficit.
