Description

One block away from Leinweber Park, so the two 9 courses can play as one 18 hole course. The lush landscapes of Gillwell Park will be transformed as the park will be partially naturalized, leaving mowed disc golf fairways as the only part of the park to be manicured. PS: Gillwell is named after the HQ park of the World Scouting movement in England, owned by Lord Baden-Powell.

Directions

Directly to the south of the Southern Alberta Light Horse Armoury, just 5 minutes from the Trans Canada Highway. Take the Dunmore Road North exit and head east on Southview Drive. Follow the signs that lead to the SALH Armoury. The park is on the north side near the Southview School, and the 1st tee is on the north side of the park.
