Description

The first tee is just north of the entry area as is the final basket for hole 11. There is plenty of parking near the first tee and along the 11th fairway. Three well maintained portable toilets are available near holes 2-3, 9-10, and 1-11. Trash dumpsters are also in these general areas.
There are two pin positions (A and B) on every hole and the signage is very clear to determine which pin is in play. Tee signs posts are heavy and bright white, making them easy to see. Baskets are white DD Veterans with black next tee arrows. Navigation should be very easy. The course property is maintained by the Town of Akron who does an amazing job keeping the grounds in very good shape. This does not mean that if you get off the fairway, it's a walk in the park. Some of the rough can be pretty thick at certain times of the year. The property is surrounded by barbed wire fence and can come into play on certain holes/pin positions.
This course was designed and installed by Erik Tribelhorn and made possible by the forward thinking folks at the Town of Akron. Please read all the tee signs to acknowledge all of the supporters that enabled this course to be completed.
