found an email in my spam folder telling me I have been warned again.
I got warned earlier this year for posting the name, NOT LINK, to a web site that has videos, abet some not kid friendly, this is a web site LINKED from this web site. The link is still there last time I checked. I blew it off.
Yesterday I was doing some research on the National Socialist Party web site, the American Nazi Party, and they had a picture of there recent Oktoberfest celebration. The pic included a burning cross, a burning swastika and something else I am not sure what it was.
I posted this as a random pic. Now I have been warned again. Next time I might be suspended
My question for everyone, did that pic offend you more than some of these other pics. Maybe it is just me, I am not offended by that pic more than what some others have posted.
Oh, I forgot about the video off YouTube I posted last year that Filthyfeet removed. It was from a game show televised on TV
Are you on top of "The List" now? :D

Almost all adult animals are lactose intolerant. Milk is a food specifically evolved to nurture rapid early growth & development in baby animals of the species from which the milk is produced. Animals (including homo sapiens) have evolved such that enzymatic systems for efficient digestion of milk are "turned off" during the maturation to adulthood, as milk is no longer a necessary food for the rapid growth & development that takes place in infancy & childhood. Adult animals very rarely digest well the milk of their own species, much less that of other species.

I don't remember what it was for, but last year my son dressed up as a Nazi for school. He wore an actual medal from Germany, a Mothers Cross (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mothers_Cross) I purchased in a Stratford-upon-Avon Antique store. [mine is a silver one]
I also purchased a very nice Beatles [Sgt Peppers] watch in a jewelry store there.

there MyHero, you happy now, I am on probation for posting a picture of cartman from Southpark dressed up for Halloween to represent my son and his book report. I don't know why the whole post was deleted, so I am going to repost it.
Quote:
You post pictures of burning crosses and swastikia on the internet and let your kid dress up as a Nazi???
WOW
It was a school project, His book report on a famous person was Hitler. [along with another kid in another class]
<font color="blue"> picture of Cartman from Southpark dressed up as Hitler removed </font>
What is funny is that some people don't see the similarities between how Hitler came to power and what our current administration has been doing. That is one reason I fear Rudy as president and will NOT vote for someone who says they want to continue the policies of Fuehrer Bush. [of course there are those that say Bush is going to stay in power, that what is happening in Pakistan is a trial run.]
On the subject of racism, brushing it under the carpet does not help, education is key in overcoming it. We should not fear the symbols of racism. Before Hitler and WWII the swastika was a symbol of good luck, there was even a swastika painted in the nosecone of the Spirit of St. Louis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Spirit_of_St._Louis_Nose_Cone_1.jpg)
Now the symbol, along with other things, are used to intimidate. I will not be intimidated by backwards thinking.
Quote:
Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans only as members of groups and never as individuals. Racists believe that all individual who share superficial physical characteristics are alike; as collectivists, racists think only in terms of groups. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called "diversity" actually perpetuate racism. Their intense focus on race is inherently racist, because it views individuals only as members of racial groups.
http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul381.html
http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul68.html
the problem that we have with dealing with this subject is we see people as groups, as they belong to certain groups and that they derive their rights as belonging to groups. We don't get our rights because we're gays or women or minorities. We get our rights from our creator as individuals. So every individual should be treated the same way.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_positions_of_Ron_Paul
A racist is for thing like affirmative action. I do not and could not stand for that. When I look at someone like Obama, I don't see a black man running for president, I see a guy who happens to be black running for president. But just because he is black should have no barring on if I support him OR NOT. Same goes with Rudy Giuliani. He is of Italian decent, that is not why I don't like him, it is because of his actions and policies.
Quote:
Freedom is not a concept in which people can do anything they want, be anything they can be. Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority. - Rudy Giuliani
If you don't have a problem with this quote, we have a major problem in America.
When Rudy was Mayor of New York, he was ruling with such a heavy hand nearly 70,000 people sued the city for police abuses.
on 9/10/01, Rudy's approval rating was 30 percent and he was one of the most hated mayors in the country.
Now I have the option of appealing, but don't know if I will. It makes me mad that I post a harmless picture of Cartman and get probation, but it really doesn't bother me that much. So unless the PDGA is HQ'd in Germany, I don't get it. Sweeping it under the rug does not change history. If we don't learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it. How much longer till we start gathering up all the Muslims in the USA and send them to concentration camps. There are those that want to do this folks.
Now back to our regularly scheduled random posts

Random History Lesson
The pledge of Allegiance from 1892
I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands: one Nation indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.
When reciting the pledge, you would stand with hands by your side. On a cue, you give a military salute to the flag. This first part was changed shortly afterwards to the following pic.
When saying the lines ''I pledge allegiance to''
this is what you do
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a2/PledgeOfAllegiance1899.jpg
When you say ''My Flag'' your hand raises up to the Bellamy salute as if raising the flag.
1942 Picture of AMERICAN SCHOOL CHILREN
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/65/Bellamy_salute_1.jpg
This was changed in 1942 to just the hand over the heart for obvious reasons.

Stars and bars of course. [in that pic, it would be 48 stars]
You are correct, we are a Republic, not a Democracy. This is lost on most people today. Most don't even realize it.

Soooooo,
Rules Zealots, if your putt lands in the basket and then floats out, is that a stroke?
johnrock
Dec 01 2007, 08:26 PM
:cool:No, no. Once it starts floating it is "at rest". Always replace an "at rest' disc where it was before it started moving.
gnduke
Dec 01 2007, 10:13 PM
Where it was at rest refers to the spot, not the condition.
It merely gives you a place to throw the next shot from.
It's not holed out unless it stays in until you take it out.
gotcha

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc184/gotcherj/ice_storm.jpg (http://photobucket.com)
johnrock
Dec 02 2007, 11:43 AM
So, if you throw a disc and it lands in a casual water situation (say a kidney shaped puddle), starts floating and makes it to the side of the puddle closer to the basket (and straight back on the line of play gives you a spot 10 feet from the basket, whereas if you mark it straight back on the line of play where it went in the puddle leaves you a 40 foot putt), I believe you should mark it where it started floating, not where it floated to, leaving you with a 40 footer instead of the easy 10 footer.
That's why the situation above (casual water) would be "holed out" IMO.
johnrock
Dec 02 2007, 12:16 PM
Now if you're saying the water is OB (the pic of the Haikey Creek basket), then as a player I probably wouldn't say anything because I wouldn't play in those conditions. Speaking as an official (or even the TD) I would declare that area casual water, and if a disc floated out because of the water, it would be replaced as near as possible to where it was before it started floating, ie - Holed Out. I remember playing Greenbelt Park in Carrolton when the basket at the turn-around (maybe 10, 11 or 12) was completely surrounded by water several feet out. Almost made me not want to play because who wants to get wet retrieving a holed-out putt?
gnduke
Dec 02 2007, 08:10 PM
This has been recently discussed here (http://www.pdga.com/msgboard/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=679962&page=0&fpart=1&vc =1)
'Holed out' is not a location, it is a condition. If all of the requirements of 803.13 are not met, the disc is not 'holed out'. You do get the benefit of the spot where the disc came to rest and started floating.

When you link to a graphic on someone else's website, you use up some of their paid bandwidth every time someone loads the page with the link (because it loads the picture from their website not the one you looking at). People who pay the bills often consider that the stealing of their bandwidth since you are viewing their picture but not their page.
A neat trick is what happened above. If the requesting page isn't your page, you serve up alternate text like that above. If you look at the properties, it says something like "dogs.jpg", which I'm sure was an amusing picture that the poster thought he was sharing. :)

A silencer on a tank would be silly. Silencers slow down the projectile to sub-sonic speeds. On a tank that would seriously limit the effective range.
I showed it to my dad and he guessed a satellite tracker. I'll see if I can get my nephew to look at it. He's in San Diego testing new military equipment.

I thought the silencer for most projectile weapons was to minimize the report of the initial explosion, not to slow the projectile. I doubt most firearms and tank projectiles leave the barrel GE Mach 1.

I can think of a number of things, but the first is that it is the worlds biggest phallic symbol.
The second is that it is a microwave device.
I doubt it is a satellite tracker. Why would you need some weird mobile device to accomplish that task?
Here's what I suspect it really is. It's a ballistics device, similar to what you use on a gun but only for a tank.

As I read it a silencer does both, thereby reducing the pop caused by breaking mach and also muffles the explosion of gun powder.. As for speed:
Light Spear (equivalent to a javelin): 2 pounds, 50 mph, 1" diameter
Heavy Spear (equivalent to a Roman pilum): 5 pounds, 25 mph, 1 1/2" diameter
Light Atlatl Dart: 3 ounces, 85 mph, 1/2" diameter
Heavy Atlatl Dart: 6 ounces, 70 mph, 5/8" diameter
Primitive Arrow: 500 grains, 165 fps, 3/8" diameter
Modern Hunting Arrow: 540 grains, 220 fps, 11/32" diameter
.357 Magnum handgun bullet: 125 grains, 1450 fps, .357" diameter
.30-06 rifle bullet: 180 grains, 2600 fps, .30" diameter
. 152 mm tank shell Muzzle velocity 560-945 m/s or about 1600-2900 fps
Mach 1 is 1130 fps and a .357 is a fairly slow slug.

The stuff we have to pay for. What's the value in having a non-mobile silencer for a tank? Yes, I understand the notion of not wanting to disturb the neighbors, by why drive a tank up to this device to fire it? What's the value of that firing? Are you doing field tests? Combat scenarios?
This seems about as dumb as anything our gov has ever done.

Check the picture. It's a German tank. Quit blaming Bush for everything. :)

What's the relevance of that? Same things still hold. Why do it? And it is still as dumb as anything our government has ever done. You ever hear of the Osprey? You don't have to be American to be dumb, but you can certainly be as dumb as our government without trying. :D BTW - Nafta was a Clinton thing, talk about dumb.

It's a pretty advanced methodology, so I'm not if you'll be able to follow, but here goes:
Right click image and bring up "Properties"
Highlight filename of "vapen.jpg" and Copy
Launch "Google.com"
paste in "vapen.jpg"
Look for English language links and click
