Monday, July 6, 2020 - 18:09

The PDGA Senior Committee, which is responsible for developing programs and increasing awareness of disc golf for those over 50, is looking for new members from both the pro and amateur fields to serve two-year terms on the committee.

These individuals must be current PDGA members and will help the committee create, promote, and administer senior disc golf programs; increase the membership of seniors in the PDGA and the game itself; and serve as a lightning rod for ideas on the grassroots level. Special programs currently under the committee’s consideration include expanding disc golf into State and National Senior Games and developing a National Senior Tour.

The committee also seeks members with skills in communication/social media, marketing and promotion, graphics, and program management.

To apply, please contact PDGA Senior Committee Chairman Bill Griffith and include the following:

  • PDGA Number and Division
  • Region (state / country)
  • Contact information (email and phone)
  • Brief biography of disc golf and special skills
  • Why you want to be part of the PDGA Senior Committee (<500 words)
