The 2021 PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championships has been designated and will be operating in phase 2 of the PDGA Majors Covid-19 Requirements and Best Practices policy. The phase 2 overview provides important highlights of the full policy for quicker reference and can be found at the end of the policy document, along with all other COVID-19 information pertaining to the PDGA Elite Series and Major events. All Competitors, Staff, Volunteers, and Media coming into the event site must complete the DGPT COVID-19 Compliance Quiz to ensure understanding and commit to following all event site policies regarding COVID-19.
The PDGA follows state and local COVID-19 policies and guidance. The USWDGC team, the PDGA, and the DGPT have worked with Placer and Sacramento counties and their parks departments to ensure the event can run in accordance with county guidance which limits what events can operate. Regarding the State of California and each of the municipalities, all entities allow for the PDGA to operate the event in accordance with state policies and the PDGA Majors COVID-19 Requirements & Best Practices.
