The best parts
We asked folks on Facebook, "What was your favorite part of #2022WGE?" Here are some of their responses:
"Getting to participate ☺️"
"Probably sharing the final results for the FJ08 division with my youngest daughter and having her rather than being even a little disappointed with finishing near the bottom be just ecstatic that her two friends from her division at Junior Worlds finished strong in 1st and 7th. ❤️"
"Packed hole 1 bleachers at Maple Hill! The laughs and cheers echoing across the course all day will stay with me for a long time!"
"Shooting the highest rated round in the world! 🤯"
– Charlotte Christensen
(993.7 WGE scale, for those curious)
"Seeing the pure joy and happiness on faces especially the ladies that have never been a part of an all female tournament. Bam! Grow the sport!"
"It was my first time TDing women's global. I love seeing the families out supporting their women. We had brothers caddying for sisters. Mom's and daughters playing together. And even a three generation family-. Grandma, aunt, and granddaughter play together."
"The whole thing!"
"Getting to play with ladies I never would have met previously if not for disc golf ☺️"
"Seeing old friends and meeting new ones!"
"Running an event with 50 women playing disc golf together on the same course ❤️
