The final 18 holes are going to be electric in a number of the 23 divisions.

Twelve divisions are separated by three or few strokes, including tight battles in the MP40 and FP40 divisions.

Here's a quick look around the action heading into Championship Sunday:

  • The lead in MP40 is down to a single stroke. North Carolina native Scott Conway has held the lead until this point but a 9-under round from Cale Leiviska has it a one-stroke margin with 18 holes to go at Diavolo. Michael Johansen joined the conversation with a strong 10-under round at Buckhorn on Saturday. Johansen is tied for third with Matthew Blakely, four strokes out of the lead.
  • Sarah Hokom turned in the best round in FP40 on Saturday and has taken the lead for the first time. Hokom shot even par on the tightly-wooded track at Buckhorn and now leads Jennifer Allen by three strokes.
  • Five-straight birdies on the back nine has Barry Schultz back on top in MP50. He leads JohnE McCray by three strokes and returns to Diavolo, where he shot a blistering 12-under round on Thursday.
  • Hank Kirwan went bogey-free on Saturday in an 11-under round and leads Blaine Faulkner by two strokes in MP55.
  • The closest battle on Championship Sunday is in FP60 where the top three are separated by one stroke. Laurie Cloyes-Chupa leads the way, followed by Kathy Hardyman and Pam Reineke.
  • It's also going to be a battle in MP70. Randy Beers tied things up with Mark Horn and the two lead David Greenwell by two strokes.
  • Benjamin Wiese held on to his lead in MA40 and leads Bradley Bushman by two strokes.
  • Milton Flynn had an ace on Hole 10 at Diavolo en route to a 7-under round, rated 978 — 86 points above his rating. Justin Walther is two strokes back.
  • Kimberly Adams is looking to go wire-to-wire in FA55 but her lead is just two over Laura Petri Trubey.
  • Robert Rothman broke a three-way tie entering the day and leads MA65 by one stroke over George Bodiroga.
