She amassed over 200 professional wins during nearly two decades of touring. Reading has been a constant advocate for girls and women in sport. She co-founded the Educational Disc Golf Experience and has educated tens of thousands of youths and teachers about the virtues of disc golf and saving green space. Having received the PDGA/EDGE Award, the “Steady” Ed trophy, and the Bob West Sportsmanship Award are testaments to the disc golfer that is Des Reading.
