Description
In the Durden Hills section of Bodcau Recreation Area. Some fairways still rough. Numbered tee posts, no signs. No current course map. Primitive camping and RV hookups available for fee. 7 mile mountain bike trail is highly rated. Fishing, hunting, boat launch and shooting range. Reynold's Grocery is the only place nearby to get food, ice, beer and fishing supplies. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Directions
From I-20; take the Haughton/Fillmore/Hwy 157 exit. Go north through intersection with US-80 about 9 miles. Go past Bellevue Rd to a right on Bodcau Dam Road just past Reynold's Grocery Store. Go past the ranger station (1700 Bodcau Dam Rd) and take the next left. Stop at gravel parking area and fill out a day-use card. Drive down hill and turn left on gravel road. Park in lot under large oak next to picnic table. 1st tee is to the left.
