EMPORIA, Kansas — The marathon became a sprint Saturday at the 2021 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships as each division was cut to four players and the results came in fast and furious on the famous 18th green of the Emporia Country Club.
In the end, nine world champions were crowned, capping a weeklong celebration of junior disc golf.

EMPORIA, Kansas — Stacie Hass has officially arrived.
The seventeen-year-old from Hubbard Lake, MI, who has, until this point, quietly kept pace with the defending champion, Melody Castruita, thoroughly outpaced Castruita and the rest of the division through 36 holes on Friday.

Two hundred fifty-one junior disc golfers began their pursuit of a PDGA World Championship title Wednesday as the 2021 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships got officially underway.
The 2021 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships has been designated and will be operating in phase 3 of the PDGA Majors Covid-19 Requirements and Best Practices policy and will offer limited spectating opportunities. The following provides an overview of the Policies & Best Practices in place for the PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships. This event will be operating in Phase 3 of the PDGA Major COVID-19 Requirements & Best Practices. This overview document provides important highlights of the full policy for quicker reference. Pre-registration is required! There will be absolutely no walk-ups accepted.
All events must be COMPLETED by 4:00 p.m. Last call to begin the Mini Golf and EDGE competitions will be 3:00 p.m. Last call to begin the Putting competition will be 3:30 p.m.
The 2021 PDGA Junior Worlds Invitation List has been published and includes players who earned invites based on the 2019 season as well as new 2020 earned invites.
Note: In all cases a registrant must be both a current 2021 junior-aged amateur member and a certified official through July 10, 2021 in order to be able to register.

March 19 – Junior Worlds invite list is posted on pdga.com
April 8 – Junior Worlds invitations are emailed to invitees. Invitation packets are sent via USPS only to those current US invitees without an email address.
