Late Saturday afternoon in the Twin Cities, a wild week of action at the 2025 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships presented by ZÜCA was coming to a fitting end.

There were three playoffs happening at the same time to determine PDGA World Champions.

Championship Saturday is set at the 2025 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championship presented by ZÜCA.

The cut has been made, but the battles are far from over before 26 PDGA World Champions are crowned in the Twin Cities.

There's a chance at two four-peats.

Ohn Scoggins reclaimed the lead by just one stroke over Jennifer Allen in what has been a back-and-forth week between the two in Minnesota. Scoggins led after the first round, Allen after the second, and they were tied after round three before their final round at Kaposia on Friday.

Every day has been moving day on the leaderboards at the 2025 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships presented by ZÜCA.

Well, Round 4 has arrived and it's time to make a move before 26 PDGA World Champions are crowned in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.

Ten of the 26 divisions have new or outright leaders heading into the fourth of five rounds, including continued shakeups in MP40 and FP40.

Joe Rovere had a share of the hot round at Kaposia on Thursday to jump into solo first place, one stroke ahead of Paul Oman, who also torched Kaposia to the tune of 12-under par.

After Tuesday's opening round at the 2025 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships presented by ZÜCA, 21 of the 26 divisions in Minnesota were separated by fewer than three strokes.

So it was a given that Round 2 was going to feature some shakeups on the leaderboards in the Twin Cities.\

Over 1,000 players representing 21 countries across 26 divisions will descend on the Twin Cities this week for the 2025 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships presented by ZÜCA.

It's going to be a Major for the books in Minnesota.

Every division has its story lines — Ohn Scoggins and Joe Rovere looking for a 4-peats in increasingly competitive divisions for example — and each division will be a battle to the finish line.

Format

This event will use modified best throw. In this format, teams choose the best throw on each shot; however, the same person’s tee shot cannot be used three holes in a row.

Modified Best Throw:

Can my partner and I play from different lies?
No, the team must choose one lie, and both throw from that one lie.

How are we going to remember whose tee shot we used?
We have a way to track this, which we will discuss at the players' meeting.

Putting Competition

There will be nine stations, each with a basket in which three putts of varying length and difficulty will be presented. The spots at each station will have putts worth 1, 2, and 3 points.

      The 2025 PDGA World Championships will take players throughout the United States and around the globe as the Professional World Championships head to Europe for the first time in history.

      Eligibility Requirements

      • Must have been a current 2024 PDGA member by December 15, 2024.
      • Must have completed three (3) PDGA-sanctioned events during the 2024 PDGA Tour year.
      • Must be a Professional-class PDGA member to receive an invite to a Professional division at Masters Worlds.
      • Must be an Amateur-class PDGA member to receive an invite to an Amateur division at Masters Worlds.
