Environmental Committee

The PDGA Environmental Committee consists of a group of dedicated volunteers who share an interest in the relationship between disc golf and the natural environment. Committee members provide expertise, information and guidance to the PDGA, its committees, disc golf clubs, promoters, tournament directors and courses.

As more municipalities open up after coronavirus-related shutdowns, local courses may need some TLC. With that in mind, the PDGA Environmental Committee has released the Throw Green Course Opening Best Practices, a document to assist clubs in their partnerships with parks departments and other stakeholders. From needed supplies and communications to incentives for volunteers, these best practices aim to give club members a clear path toward getting courses back in top shape.
