2025 PDGA Pro (MPO & FPO) Disc Golf World Championship Registration Schedule v1 (Subject to Change)

  • In all cases, a player must be both a current 2025 PDGA member and a Certified Official with an expiration date after August 3, to be able to register. If you are not a current 2025 member and/or not a Certified Official with an expiration date after August 3, you will not be able to register.

  • Invitees are subject to all eligibility requirements per Competition Manual 1.01, and nothing in an invitation shall be construed to create a right of the recipient to participate in this event.

  • To register during the first five registration tiers, you must have received an invite based on the Feb 2025 Ratings update.

  • Eligible defending 2024 World Champions in MPO and FPO, as well as MA1, FA1, MJ18, and FJ18 (only if they turned Pro), will have their spot held until May 15. If not registered prior to May 16, the spots are released.

  • Four berths in each of MPO and FPO are set aside for PDGA Reserved Berths assigned by the PDGA if necessary. If not assigned, they will be released to the waitlist on June 16, 2025.

All registration tiers open at 10:30 PM Eastern on the date indicated. If you live in a time zone other than Eastern, be sure to adjust accordingly. (Note: Eastern time is UTC -5 hours until 9-Mar when Daylight Savings Time starts at which time Eastern time is then UTC -4 hours.)

Monday, March 10 – Professional Worlds invite list is posted.

Monday, March 17 – Pro Worlds invitations are emailed to invitees.

Monday, March 24 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for two weeks to MPO and FPO players invited for Tier 1.

Monday, April 7 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for two weeks to invited MPO players who were rated 1020 or higher and invited FPO players who were rated 930 or higher. Waitlists will be maintained as necessary.

Monday, April 21 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for two weeks to invited MPO players who were rated 1010 or higher and invited FPO players who were rated 910 or higher. Waitlists will be maintained as necessary.

Monday, May 5 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for two weeks to invited MPO players who were rated 1000 or higher and invited FPO players who were rated 890 or higher. Waitlists will be maintained as necessary.

Monday, May 19 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for two weeks to invited MPO players who were rated 990 or higher and invited FPO players who were rated 875 or higher. Waitlists will be maintained as necessary.

Monday, June 2 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for all Pro class PDGA members (MPO requires a rating of at least 935 and FPO requires a rating of at least 825.) Waitlists will be maintained as necessary.

Monday, June 16 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Open registration for all current Amateur players with a current rating of 970 or higher for MPO and all current Amateur players with a current rating of 875 or higher for FPO. Waitlists for filled divisions are continued with any qualified Pro or Amateur registrants.

IMPORTANT: Pro Worlds-registered players wishing to participate in any of the Field Events, must add them to their Worlds registration prior to registration closing on Monday, July 7.

Monday, July 7 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration closes, waitlists are closed. Dropped spots continue to be backfilled from the waitlists through July 26.

Sunday, July 27 – Divisional Fields and Player Pools are Final. Any players still on the waitlist are refunded. There are no replacements for drops once the waitlists are refunded.

Monday, July 28 – Player Pools are posted. Wednesday, July 30 – Divisional Worlds play starts.
