Description

A good hike through a mixed northern forest. The course begins in some lower meadows and then climbs to the top of Avalanche Mountain. Unmatched view on #18. Long walks between some holes. Mixed use trails and park.

Directions

From downtown Boyne City; take Lake St south to the end and follow the signs for Avalanche (the road jogs east on Ann St, then south on Wilson). 1st tee is at the east end of the parking lot. If from US-131 in Boyne Falls; go west on M-75 into Boyne City, left on Division St. (just past McDonalds), left on Lake St and follow the signs.
