Course Reviews
Wowzers, tiny course. Stand at any tee pad and you can easily see all eighteen baskets. So small and clearly marked that a twosome could play it in half an hour or less. Although, if anyone else is playing the course, they'll probably be walking through your fairway.
Furthermore, families pour out of the neighboring water park and wander onto the course in ignorance. Too much activity for one little course!
Virtually all holes are under 200 ft and there are a few small trees dotting the course. Good place to practice your mid-range game and putting skills, but it hardly poses a challenge.
Bull Run is a nice park to visit, but this disc golf course by itself isn't worth the $7 park entrance fee. If you wanna play a round, there are better options.
To get here, drive about 1.5 miles past the entrance gate and turn left into the water park parking lot. When facing the water park, the first tee is in the woods on the left.
This is a fun little course, but has way too many holes on an acreage this small. We played on a Thursday afternoon, along with a dozen other frolfers and there were problems with criss cross fairways and discs flying too close to my head for comfort. It should be a nine hole course. The bugs were really a problem--if you play here, make sure you have bug repellent!

This course is in some need of much needed TLC, pretty badly I might add... There is only one new basket at the first hole, and as the other users have stated, it IS a very small and tight course that you could probably sail a single strong armed shot all the way acrossed the entire thing if you wanted to.
Nicely shaded, and woodsey, which can also lead to it's major problem... Staying wet for far too long and becoming a breeding ground for the MUTANT mosquitos that will come out in ravinous hunger of blood lust the minute you hit the course. Make sure you're wearing long pants, thick long sleves, and have bathed in "Deep Woods OFF" otherwise your going to be eaten alive by nasty bugs.
We had only been there maybe a total of 10 minutes and I had already recieved 13 bites on the top of my scalp! Ouch.
Aside from that, the course is ok for simple practice, but in my opinion, would probably only be good in maybe winter months... As it resides right next to the Octoquan river, the bugs are already inherintly bad already. So, if your in the area... But I would suggest against making ANY sort of special trip to see this course, unless it gets a MAJOR REVAMP.
