Signs were installed in 2019. Easy to navigate now with a nice variety of holes. Well maintained

This could be a great course. Many holes are wide open, but usually w water in play, but not too dangerous. Lots of elevation changes. The last couple, 26 & 27, are long, like 800 ft. 26 is longest hole. Has great downhill view of lake from on top hill w a chance to launch as far as you can throw.

The problem is the planning & marking of the course. I drove around the park looking for hole 1. Even the workers weren't really sure. It's near the volleyball courts at the back of the park. To find the unmarked tee box for 1, walk from chains toward lake along the maintenance building. It's on other side of marshy inlet. Tee box for 2 is across the street. Look for foot tall tiny hot pink flags to find tee boxes...a majority have flags.

There are no directions to next hole, & next tee box is not always intuitive. I didn't find tee box for thirteen nor could I find holes 20 or 21. 19 flows nicely into 22 though.

No benches, but who wants to sit when the course is only 4 miles long, right? :)

Open course with no bathroom between 1 & 26.

That being said, if I get back to Fergus, I will play this again. Relaxing, pretty, w some unique holes. Tee pads are nice hard black rubber. I liked 'em, better than concrete maybe. Not one other player on the course.

For reference I've been playing fairly avidly for 3 summers, mainly in Wisconsin.

With a course map, benches, a bathroom, and real tee markers, this would close to a 5 for me.
