I don't know how old this course is, but it's in good condition. A nice little beginner course. But if you're a more seasoned player, the challenge will be field work/shot placement.
The course plays pretty simple with a few navigation issues; not terrible. There's a lot of wide-open holes where you can practice your shot placements. Birdies a plenty here for the intermediate and higher player. Only a couple of holes over 400'. Hole 5 has a wide open shot with a late low ceiling under trees, and a basket right next to a big fat juniper tree. Hole 6 is the only fairly challenging hole with a straight tight tunnel shot between distant junipers, or a carefully placed hyzer to the right; down to the basket which is surrounded by trees. The rest plays fairly easy and open.
Now the caveats.... this course has low-lying areas with poor drainage, so fairly wet if it's been rainy recently. Some basket placements that are in the open could have benefited from better placement just a few feet away where it's drier (7 and 9). Yick! Tee sign 7 is basically plastered up against a juniper tree; making me wonder how old this course is. The tee sign for #8 is gone completely, but I determined where it was and mapped that location in Udisc when I mapped the course. The picture of Tee #8 here also helps with that. Some tee blocks in the ground would have helped to know precisely where the front of the tee is, but just throwing beside the sign is ok.
Even with these issues, it's a fun little course to play. If you're near the area, give it a try. :)
