Graytown Park

New course with great signage, concrete pads and benches on every hole. The front 9 is mostly open with some trees in the low area. Newly planted trees by the tee boxes will shade the area in a few years. Negative: Hot in the summer so bring water. Plus: the front 9 is playable even after a rain. The back 9 is along the San Antonio river and the course gets tighter and more challenging making it fun to play. There are two signature holes. #10 which is a line drive shot through a hole in the thick brush & trees across two gullies. Make one mistake and your throwing blind to the basket. #14 is a great uphill shot leading to the other signature hole #15 which is a beautiful downhill shot to the bottom where the basket is protected by large pecan trees. The back 9 can get muddy after a rain and might flood occasionally but SARA keeps it cleaned up pretty good. Overall a great course to play. Bring water in summer, bug spray after a rain and come play this course because your going to love it.
