A great 18 holer in the Athens area. 4 different teas for each hole. Nicely wood but all reasonable fairways. Underbrush well maintained. Lots of elevation changes.

Thank goodness for this course. Best course on the Athens Ohio area hands down. Used to have to travel 45+ minutes when visiting my girlfriend's family to play, but not anymore. The host is so hospitable and welcoming. Takes pride in his course. So grateful he built it.

HIPPO RIDGE has the coolest artwork display of hippos, everywhere! Ken was an extremely gracious host and couldn't have been more helpful! Wooded/open course with elevation on every single hole. This course will be an easy 5-chain once the teepads are complete. BUT, it must be said, Ken does ALL the work to keep this course going. He even had some drinks for us at the turn. Can't wait to go back!

YES! finally another legitimate tough 18 holer on private land. i have heard people for years say come play my home course only to get there or hear that it is like a 6 holer that one plays the holes from different directions and usually very short but; not this one. it looks like work is being done on 3 different tees. 62 is par from the middle tees and i do NOT see me getting that anytime soon. not near as many trees involved as i have seen on other courses but the terrain is up and down considerably to make it that much tougher! Ken was a most gracious host and my son Tony and I look forward to seeing him again this spring. there are quite a few wooded holes but; Ken has cleared many of them of underbrush. Nice!
