Fun, woodsy course, kind of cramped feel. I walked the course first, even though they had a picture on a big board close to the first tee. You'll want to park pretty close to where you pull into the recreation area for an easy walk up to the tee box. The holes are pretty straight forward but I had to ask for directions to the tee box of hole 7 because there wasn't really any clear path to anything but the tee box of hole 18 or 19. I later found the "rock sign" for hole 7 pointing to hole 8 between the basket for 7 and the tee for 8. The basket for #16 has a #3 on it and that was a bit confusing, and the course also says it's a 20 hole course but what I found was a tee pad for 19 throwing to a basket marked #20. I might have been looking at things the wrong way, but it looked pretty obvious to me that that was the only option. There were a lot of bugs and it's early summer, so once it turns hot, be sure to spray down before you play. There are some tight wooded shots, nothing extremely long, but definitely technical. It'll make you work for a bunch of the holes. I'm glad I played it, but not my favorite in the area that I found. It'd be a great course if you don't have a lot of time or you live close by and need your fix of DG. I played Latimer Lakes, Central Park, Shelby Forest(both 18's of it) and Shelby Farms in 4 days and had a blast. The signage was not on all of the holes, so you should consider walking the course before you play too, it makes play a lot easier, or play with a local, there were quite a few playing during the day on a weekday, that's always a good sign of a solid course. I'll probably play it again when I come back to Memphis and re-review it. Until then.
