Fun for all levels. No possible chance to loose a disc because it is so open. Best designed holes are 8-13 but overall a great course to play if you want to let it fly.

A little on the easier side. Mostly open space, no water hazards, few densely wooded areas. Good for beginners.

Nice Park! Has children park near by and also a miniature golf course. Plenty of vehicle parking. Course was difficult to navigate. Course layout not very clear when walking it. The Layout has change since the Map that is currently available on this site. Very nice throws here large oak trees but still enough room to air it out.

This course has undergone some renivations since others have posted. Many holes have been changed or simply moved back to increase the total distance, and making the course a couple of throws more challenging. It's a great course that does require an arsenol of shots available in your bag. Very crouded on weekends filled with novice players playing an easy course par. One of the harded coursed in the vacinity, but desigened well enough to get through in an hour or so. A rating from me and i suggest everyone checks it out

7.2011--This is a nice course in a great location. There still seems to be some tweaking going on, at least four tee boxes have been moved recently. Maybe they are trying to get the course organized before they pour concrete tees? There is plenty of land for the designers to work with, and it looks like the course will be set by next year. Signage is good and the setting is pleasant. This one will only get better. 3-4 would be an accurate rating.

update 6.19.2012

The course has been completely reworked. To put it simply, the easiest holes are now tough, the moderate holes are now challenging, and the toughest holes were left alone. The course is on a large family park with plenty of picnic tables and benches, most positioned in the shade and out of the traffic areas. There is seldom any congestion and a crossing disc paths is unlikely. I changed my original 3/5 rating to 5/5. This course is comfortable for whole families and challenging for snipers.

btw- 11? (second hole in the woods) is still a bear of a hole. Originally it was a short par 3 through a VERY narrow opening of the trees, about as wide as the path, with three major trunk/branches at the exit to the clearing at the basket. They did extend the hole, the TEE is 100' DEEPER in the woods, the fairway was widened to about 12', and the three trunk/branches are still in front of the green. Good luck...

Nice course at a very nice public park. I am surprised that a course was not built earlier. As it is, the course is average to above average, but has the potential to be very good. First things first, it is inexcusable for a course of this level to be built without concrete teepads. I followed with one of the park district officials about why this is not so, and they stated that concrete tees would take away from the natural integrity of the park. In opposition, there is an asphalt running path winding through the entirety of the course. I digress. As for hole setup, most are not terribly long and demand a solid bit of accuracy to prevent the wayward tree branch from ruining an otherwise great shot. One complaint though is hole 11, while is a dinky ( for a lack of a better term) shot 125 ft out of the woods and over a fallen tree. There is about 100 ft or so of grass past the existing basket that would make the hole far more enjoyable. All in all a pretty good course.
