Course Reviews
Great course with a lot of everything. Length, trees, water, a little elevation. I really miss West Texas and this little jewel.
besides the girls at Tech, cheap drink specials, and chimys the thing i miss most about Lubbock is droppin some D at this course. This course is HUGE so if you cant drop bombs like me and my nigga tripp do from the pro white pads you should stick to the short red pads. variety of terrains, water shots, mainly open and some wooded short tech shots.
hole #1 by the parking lot up on the hill by the restrooms
#2 great to unload the bag cause there are measuring sticks up to 400ft like a driving range and in the long pin position its a crazy 1200ft give or take
#3 long narrow shot through trees or a huge anny outside the trees just dont throw it in the street
#5 water on the right so dont turn one over and get wet. watch out for the 3 rogue geese that will chase you but just back hand em like my boy mike did and they will know
#6 depending on pin location look for the OB arrows on the trees gotta throw it straight and curve right around the dumpster back towards the water.. cant just cut across the parking lot
#7 rip it up under the trees
#8 cliff shot but basket isnt always there so i dunno we usually threw it either way
#9 depending on location dont over putt into the pond
#11 enjoy the rock bench and rip it off the cliff over the pond, tough shot many have to lay it up then go over the water or there is a pole that you can throw to instead of going over the water
#12 by hole 11 basket throw back over the short part of the pond
#13 basket in the middle of a fortress of trees i like to skip it in there
#14 desert terrain rip it over some valleys and cacti if the basket is short its a good ace race
#15 creek on the left dont hyzer to much or youll get wet
other holes follow around the creek and the rest are kinda short wooded tech shots
havent played there in a while so my numbering might be off just really like the course and thought it needed a review

The best way to describe this course would be long. If that word were taken then I would say windy. These two factors make this course a must play in the panhandle region. The concrete tee pads are in great shape with the exception of number 5 which is hanging off the water. There are red and white tees at each hole making it a great course for pros or amateurs. Hole 11 should not belong in Lubbock,TX but it there and swallows up entire bags of discs. It is the most amazing hole you will see in the northwest Texas region. My only complaint is that for the amount of foot traffic this course gets I feel the city should sponsor an expansion into the wooded area. There is currently a pole course hidden in the trees that could be an incredible addition to the park if it were turned into a legit 18-hole.
