Description

Nice, beginner-friendly course set on an old farmstead. Weaves in amongst young trees and open areas, with a slight slope to one side of the entire property. A mature pine tree wind break splits the course and protects the dirt road that runs through the park. This area backs up to the Carlos Avery Game Preserve - nice walking trails lead east in to the Preserve.

Directions

From I-35; Stacy exit. Go east on Stacy Trail 0.5 mile to a right at 4-way stop on Forest. 0.25 mile to a left into fire station parking lot. Go to south end of the lot and follow dirt road 350'. Park on the right. 1st tee is across the road shooting east through tall pines.
