Sandy Point State Park

Good variety of hole lengths and some nice use of the park's elevation features. This is not an easy course to score low on. It has 2 long par 3's (2 and 7) that could easily be par 4's for rec players and beginners. Holes 2, 7-9 were especially good. It would have been hard to navigate without a map. You have to tee on the grass on some holes, but several allow you to tee off the pavement. This is going to be a nice addition for the Boise area for winter play. I recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.
