Great alpine forest and lake setting but a bit out of the way. Spattering of fun and well designed holes but the odd layout split on both sides of the parking lot and hole 18 asks you to just throw full power bombs down a long steep open slope of loose rocks. Why not end the course close to the parking instead of having to hike back up? Some of the shorter holes are well designed but the par 4s aren't very strategic or interesting. The loose rocks and ankle turners beat you up. Some better maintenance would make it more replayable. After driving out to the boonies you don't really want to play a second round. Missed opportunities for water views from the course. Routing is confusing.

Fun course, it was set short the day we played, nice lake view holes and a few water hazard areas(when the lake is full). Best signage and direction arrows on every basket. Easy to navigate, nice woodsy course. Played a few rounds and then went kayaking. Great place to spend the day, just make sure to bring your lunch.
