Steamboat Park

This is a really nice course. It doesn’t have a lot of risk and reward or choices to make off the tee but there was some. The holes are all straight away off the tee. Seven is a nice addition as the only wooded hole and the location along the river is just nice. The river doesn’t actually come into play but it is a nice back drop for the course. The holes are not real long but this would be a challenge for beginners. Beginners can play there and have fun but it would be at the top of ability. This course is designed There are some other users here but the designers did a really nice job of putting the holes in places that limit using the same areas. They also did a nice job of using the existing trees so that it is possible to play through them but not always just down the open lanes. This is still a course in another city park. Maybe it was just the nice day and playing after a hard day of work but I really enjoyed this course. There are not many holes that are remarkable but this is just a nice course. If I am in the area again I would play this course again and recommend it to others. I don’t know if I would tell people to go out of their way to get there but it definitely worth the time if you are in the area. Of course any round on any course is great if you have the time and there is a course nearby.
