I really enjoyed the park, there were just a few problems I had. For one not all the tee boxes were clearly labeled making it difficult to traverse parts of the course. The directions to the course given online imply that the park is at the intersection of salazar rd and chamisa rd, where in fact these two roads never converge. And much to my surprise nobody i spoke with in town had any idea there was even a course. I understand that this course is new in town by a couple of years but all the young people I spoke with told me 'there is no park and I must drive to Sipapu'. I think spreading the word about disc golf in Taos is a MUST! There are tuns of disc golfers that come through this town and when they go to the Head Shop, the employee needs to be able to tell them where the park is. Aside from all of that, once I made it onto the course(Chamise rd just before the ninty degree turn to the right) I really enjoyed myself. The hanging basket for hole seven I think it is, really great shot! Unfortunately I was never able to find the Tee Box for hole nine, nor the basket. I'm not from Taos but I visit quite often and I would like very much to play with a local so I can learn the course better.I will be at the park around 5:30 or 6:00 in the evening today and tomorrow if anyone would be interested in playing a round with me!
