Description
The 1st hole is one of the toughest in the State of Maine. The raised 7' tall basket atop a stump is one of its challenging elements.
Dual tees - Par 59 from the Longs (50 = 1000 rated) and Par 54 from the Shorts (44 = 1000 rated)
The layout is easy to navigate - good signs and flow.
All roads/parking lot/rock walls are OB. Please contact Andrew Kahl to get back any discs that go over the rock wall on #4/8.
A mix of tight fairways and some real bomber shots.
The Long tees are brushed 10'x4' concrete.
The Short (temp) tees are 8'x4' plywood topped with roofing material.
Raised tee on #16 with a bag emptying 200' downhill shot!
Although #1 & 16 feel like signature holes, #17 is the true challenge. This 420' Par 4 has a 20' wide fairway for 150' that widens into two lanes before a sharp dogleg right at 330'. The turn leads many to shoot through Fruit Hallow - a small 6'x6' gap through apple and cherry trees.
#18 is a 450' Par 4 that doglegs left. Power throwers attempt to get over the man made pond around 350' off of the tee.
Please never throw from the top of any woodpile and always return all found discs (marked or unmarked).
