Description

Crater Lakes Disc Golf Park resides within the belly of a crater of a dormant volcano that shares it's name (Mount Gambier) with the city that lies at its feet. Beautiful and picturesque crater walls tower above the championship level 6827' Par 60 course. The course has additional Amateur tees on 9 of the holes creating a 5961' Par 61 option for less experienced players. The versatile terrain allows the course to make use of wooded and open spaces with both flat and undulating holes that flirt with the crater walls themselves. This humbling and serene parkland is an incredible setting - a unique disc golf course within a volcano.

Directions

Travel south on Mount Gambier's main road (Bay Rd) to the entrance to the Crater Lakes off the round-a-bout on the south side of the famous Blue Lake. Just to the right of the Blue Lake Holiday Park. Davison Drive spirals downwards into the crater. Use the car park on the left just before that of a playground and opposite a toilet block.
