Every hole brings a different challenge, length, control, elevation all come into play at different points. There are tunnels and wide open fairways and everything in between.
The scenery and beauty of this course cannot be understated. It's a must play for anyone in the Chicago area.

Super fun course. Not very beginner friendly. The big open holes are pretty tough for being open. Thought the back 9 would be easier since 8 of 9 are par 3 but there are a few narrow fairways that require near perfectly straight shots. Great course overall. Nice mature trees and rolling hills. Took us about 2.5 hrs so plan on a long round. Short 6 hole course was a nice warm up while waiting for a guy who was running late. I plan to bring my 6yo to do the short course as it was fun too. Short course would be good to work on your putting game.
