Course Reviews
This is a great place to play the game. #2 and #15 are among my favorite drives. Finding your way around the course is difficult if you never played it before and there are multiple worn hills to climb up and down which can make things difficult for someone with leg issues. I make sure to drive the 30+ miles at least once every year to play this place.
Very challenging course, kinda tough to navigate, and hole 7 or 8 is missing the basket, but I wouldn't let that hold you back from playing this amazing course.
Better then the oaks. All of us in Chicago are jealous of the Joliet people that get to play this course everyday! Lost my disc shooting of the cliff
great course. the course is not well marked (and some of the signs aren't even close to right) but the course is worth the effort. if it's warm wear sandals -water comes into play often, and between 2 and 3 we had to walk through a creek where half the bridge is gone.
Fantastic course. Hole 2 is a dog leg left where you're very elevated and you have to shoot between an openning of trees and over a creek. I suggest playing with someone so you can take turns spotting the discs to avoid lossing some. There's another hole (#11 I think) where you can only see the tops of trees and just have faith that the basket is somewhere down there. You need to bring your A game for some of the very narrow shots. You'll see on the barks of the trees on how many people nail the trees 15 feet off the tee box.
very fun and challenging. nice elevation changes through wooded areas with creeks. lots of tricky shots. rough tee offs though but the course makes up for it.
great course ... played this course today and its awesome!! hole 3? or 2? you are elevated and this was my fav hole... this is a challenging course which is threw a lot of trees and make sure you bring extra discs you may lose one or two.....but still a great course to play
West Park really has some awesome holes! This course has elevation, distance, difficulty, creativity, and 24 holes to play! If you are a first timer going to West Park, and there is no one in front of you, unfortunately you are probably going to be wondering where the next hole is? The course is not marked very well, and some of the holes are hard to understand even where the tee box is? But please do not let this stop you from going and playing this course! Once you play a round, you will see what I mean. Awesome course!!

Definitely a nice and challenging course. A few holes are hard to find, but the course is worth playing. Many challenges... uphill, downhill, wooded shots, canyons, water. You name it, its here. Agree that someone with walking issues may have a tough time on a few holes as the path up and down is a bit treacherous. All and all a fun place to play. Parts of the course could easily lose a disc. Others are wide open. If not crowded you can play where you are most comfortable. Dirt tees is a downer and greens are not as nice as other courses I have seen. Still a nice course.
