Contribute to the PDGA Course Directory
Did you just play a course that is not in the PDGA Course Directory? Have you played a course for years that isn't in the course directory? Have you thought "Wow, why doesn't someone add that course in there?" Have you complained on a discussion board about how everyone else in the world is not adding that dang course? Did you even know that you can add a course to the PDGA Course Directory yourself? Well you can!
Despite reports to the contrary, Course Directory Editor Cliff Towne #5450 is far from all-seeing and all-knowing. At an absolute minimum, he needs people to at least let him know that a course is in the ground! The good news is, not only can you add a course yourself to the PDGA Course Directory, but it's really easy to do!
For more than 3 years I, Eric Vandenberg #3089, have been tracking down missing course install years and trying to document every disc golf course that has ever existed (I am now the official "PDGA Course Archivist"). Currently my main project is to help Cliff Towne, the PDGA Course Directory Editor, identify active courses not yet listed on the PDGA site. I have identified just over 1200 unlisted courses in the US and am currently working on Canada. Cliff is working through that list as his other duties allow, but courses are being designed and installed constantly. Ideally, hundreds of our members should be involved in helping to keep our course database up to date.
