Hailey King competed in the dogwoods of Texas, the plains of Kansas and for four days in Nashville with the best players in the world on the 2021 PDGA National Tour.
She conquered them all.
King wrapped up the 2021 PDGA National Tour Championship and her third National Tour win of 2021 with a strong finish at the 2021 Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs on Sunday.

After grabbing the first PDGA Elite Series title of her career on Dogwood at the 2021 Texas State Disc Golf Championships in Tyler, Texas in March, King grabbed her second NT title in as many months at the Dynamic Discs Open in April.
Following another PDGA Elite Series win at the DGPT – Green Mountain Championships earlier in September, King put a bow on a dominant regular season with a three-stroke win over Sarah Hokom on Sunday at Mill Ridge in Nashville.
“Hard work truly pays off,” King said. “It’s amazing.”

With the win, King jumped Catrina Allen in the NT standings and took the 2021 title and bonus payout by four points. Kona Panis was third, Sarah Hokom fourth and Heather Young fifth in the final leaderboard.
King had a share of the lead after the opening rounds at Cedar Hill and built a three-stroke lead over Macie Velediaz heading into Championship Sunday.
That’s when she took off.
With birdies on the first six holes and seven of the first eight, King built her lead to double digits at one point. A stumble with a triple bogey on 11 was followed by a birdie but three late bogies – paired with a back-nine heater from Hokom – closed the gap to three strokes coming down the stretch.

But King’s dominant start, which included two park jobs and a Circle 2 hit, the cushion was built as she navigated the demanding and technical track at Mill Ridge. For the tournament, King finished first in Circle 1 in regulation, second in fairway hits and first in Circle 2 putts, where she gained 4.13 strokes over the field, according to UDisc.

Hokom hit six-straight putts from C1X, five for birdie, down the stretch for a 5-under round to tie the hot rounds for the FPO division at Mill Ridge. King and Velediaz, who finished third at 11-under.
But this weekend and Elite Series season belonged to King, who, after a strong start to the season, takes back-to-back wins into the Throw Pink Women’s Championship and the DGPT Championship to put a bow on what has already been a statement year.
