A few months ago, JohnE McCray suffered a massive heart attack. Now, he’s a World Champion. Ohn Scoggins is proving week-in and week-out on the PDGA Elite Series that age is just a number. Her new number is two, as in two-time Masters World Champion. Same with Tim Keith, who defended his title in MP60, and Nova Politte in FP50.
Four championships were decided in playoffs after five rounds and a final nine weren’t enough. Colin Bryant (MJ15), Mike Forton (MP55), Susan Stephens (FP55) and Wes Steer (MA70) emerged victorious.
Ilkin Groh’s trophy case is growing as he adds an MJ18 World Championship to his 2022 USADGC win. Virginia Polkinghorne (FJ15) is now a four-time Junior World Champion.
The entire Junior field showed that the future of our sport it bright. The entire Masters field showed us that it’ll be bright for a lifetime.
