A couple of trends continued on Sunday at the 2021 PDGA National Tour Finale - Music City Open prestned by Dynamic Discs.

On the MPO side, Mason Ford joined a list of first-time National Tour winners in a season that saw five different winners on the NT.

Hailey King simply dominated the National Tour in 2021, winning three events on her way to taking the 2021 NT Points Series title.

There have been 30 players overall to win at least two PDGA National Tour titles. Twenty-one players since the NT was formed in 2003 have won three or more.

Hailey King has joined the 30 and is closing in on joining the three-title club.

King had one of the hot rounds and added to her lead Saturday as action of the 2021 PDGA National Tour Finale – Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs shifted to Mill Ridge in Nashville.

Pressure applied.

That’s what Ricky Wysocki did on Saturday at the Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs and now, the two-time PDGA World Champion is looking to add his 16th PDGA National Tour title to his collection, as well as wrap up the 2021 NT points series title.

Wysocki torched the Mill Ridge track on Saturday to the tune of a 1077-rated, 12-under round to jump from the chase card into solo possession of the lead with 18 holes to play at the 2021 PDGA National Tour finale.

Twelve players are within five strokes of the lead through two rounds of the 2021 PDGA National Tour Finale – Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs.

While there’s very little separation, they’re still chasing Mason Ford.

The Texas native maintained his spot atop the leaderboard and his one-stroke lead in Nashville as action shifts to a vastly different style of play for the weekend at Mill Ridge.

Hailey King put in the call on Thursday after a rough finish to an otherwise solid round.

She delivered on Friday.

King executed two perfect throws and connected on a solid putt for an eagle on the tricky finishing hole at Cedar Hill to jump to a tie for the lead heading into the weekend at the Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs, the finale to the 2021 PDGA National Tour.

A day before, King – a two-time winner on the National Tour this year – carded an eight that left her two shots back of the first-round leaders.
